The Community Center Fitness Area, Gymnasium, Activity Pool and Lap Pool will open July 20th, 2020
Reservations to use the Community Center will be available Monday - Thursday between 6:00 am - 7:00 pm. No one will be allowed into the facility without a reservation.
Yes, all users must reserve a time slot no less than 48 hours in advance. No one will be allowed entry the facility without a reservation.
Individuals with current memberships may reserve up to two time slots per day for free. Non members will be charged $5 plus a processing fee at the time of registration for Fitness and Lap Swimming reservations and $15 for Activity Pool & Gymnasium reservations.
Reservations for the Fitness Areas, gymnasium and the Activity Pool are 90 minutes long, each Lap Swimming reservations is 45 minutes long.
Access is limited to Fitness Areas, Gymnasium and the Pool. Guests may only enter the area for which they have a reservation. At no time are guests allowed to wander around the facility. The Aquatic Center is open for lap swimming and activity pool reservations.
The Cardio Balcony equipment has been spaced out to allow for social distancing. There are two separate fitness areas available for use with a max of 10 people per area allowed at 1 time.
Yes, reservations are limited to individuals 14 years of age or older for fitness areas and 12 years of age or older for lap swimming. All ages are welcome for Activity Pool reservations however an adult must be present at all times.

To make a reservation you must have an online account with us. If you know your log in information, please log in here. If you do not know your log in information, please call us at 970-384-6301 and we will provide it for you. After you have successfully logged into the site, select Fitness to be directed to the Fitness Area reservation page or click Aquatics to be directed to the Lap Lane reservation page.
If you cannot make it to your reservation please call 970-384-6301 or go online to cancel your reservation. All "no shows" will be charged a $5 fee.

If you have made a reservation for one of the two fitness areas, you must enter through the Community Center front right doors nearest to the circle drive. Please arrive early for your allotted time slot and maintain social distancing protocols at all times. Masks are required for entry. No one will be allowed entry without a reservation.
Guests with a pool reservation must enter through the pool door entrance nearest the parking lot between the Community Center and tennis courts. Persons using the pool will not be allowed to enter through the fitness area entrance. Please arrive early for your allotted time slot and maintain social distancing protocols at all times. Masks are required for entry and when exiting. No one will be allowed entry without a reservation.
Masks are required while entering and exiting the facility and highly recommended for all persons while using the facility.
All guests must maintain a minimum of six feet distance from other guests. Markers will indicate where guests should stand while waiting to enter. Guidelines are displayed on doors of center and inside on boards to help guide guests.
Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes will be available for use throughout the facility and bathrooms for public use as well as ample soap for hand washing. All guests are expected to wipe down their equipment before and after each use. In between each workout session, fitness areas will be closed for 30 minutes so that staff can thoroughly clean and sanitize each area.
Yes, you may make a reservation to use the activity pool with the members of your household up to 6 persons. All reservations must be made by an adult who is present for the reservation. Please stay in the activity pool area during your reservation. Please bring your own toys and equipment. No equipment is being loaned out or sold at this time. The slide will be turned on upon request only.
Fitness area users will not have access to the locker rooms but will have access to the upstairs restrooms.
Swimmers may use restroom facilities and showers in locker rooms however use of lockers is strictly prohibited. All swimmers are asked to come to the facility in their suit and prepared to swim. We strongly encourage showering before you arrive to swim and showering at home after your swim. Use of locker rooms should be limited.
Yes! Reservations are available for the gym of up to six (6) persons residing in the same household. You must bring your own equipment including balls.
No, at this time KidKare will remain closed. No persons under the age of 12 will be allowed into the facility. Please see age restrictions.
All current memberships will remain on hold through June 30th. Beginning July 1st members will have the following options.
Annual, Six Month and Autopay members will have the option to activate their memberships anytime after July 1st to continue making free reservations.
Annual and Six Month members, when you’re ready to activate your membership, please let the front desk know and they will extend annual and six month memberships the correct amount of days from March 13 to the first day you come see us again.
Autopay members, when you are ready to activate your membership, please let the front desk know and they will reactive your monthly payments.
Monthly Pass holders, If you had a monthly pass prior to our closure on March 13, we will reactivate your pass upon your request and credit your first month for the number of days you paid for in March and were not able to visit.
Punch passes will not be available for use during this time.
No, the Climbing Wall will remain closed at this time.
We will not be providing any equipment at the pool. Please be sure to bring your own equipment including kickboards, pull buoys, goggles, swim caps, fins and etc.
Yes, anyone with a Fitness Area 1 - Cardio Balcony reservation may use the indoor track.

No, there will not be any fitness classes offered at this time.
There will be no recreation programs offered at this time. At this time we do not yet know when we will be able to offer recreational programming. We are following State and County regulations and guidelines and making plans to offer programs as soon as possible.
Lap lanes will be restricted to 1 swimmer per lane and up to 8 swimmers per session. The Activity Pool is limited to 2 households per household up to 6 persons per household.
Free weights will be available as of June 22. There will be limited free weights in both Fitness areas.
Unfortunately, the City of Glenwood Springs had to lay off all of our part time employees and full time staff are being furloughed twice per month . Until we are fiscally able to re hire part time staff we will be unable to offer all of our amenities. We will open as many amenities as we can as soon as we are able.
Yes, however you must make a reservation, bring ALL your own equipment including nets and you may only play with members of your own household.
