$100 /player Individual Draft League
To qualify for the member rate more than half of your active roster must be current residents or members of the Glenwood Community Center or be financially sponsored by a local business.

ADULT HOCKEY LEAGUE DESCRIPTIONS:

A **- Advanced League - This is the most competitive recreational non-checking division. Teams are made up of more highly skilled competitive players who have played hockey for several years. Games Primarily Friday evenings.

B **- This is an Advanced / Intermediate recreational division. Teams are made up primarily of those players that have played hockey for many years or those with Intermediate or advanced skills. League management may move any individual player or team in order to maintain an appropriate level of play within the given leagues. Games primarily on Sundays.

C **- This is an Intermediate / Novice division . Teams should be made up of Intermediate and Novice players only, NO Advanced level players are allowed in this league. No slap shots are allowed in this division. Games primarily on Sundays.

Over 40 League—Teams should be made up of players 40 years of age or older, women of any age may participate in this league. Games primarily Sunday possibility of occasional weeknight games.

Individual Draft League— 8 game league where captains are nominated/ assigned and then select teams from the pool of all registered players. Each player must register individually no later than Mon., 11/21/2011 cost is $100 per player. Goalies are free, the player ranking questionnaire must be completed when joining this league. Player Draft will take place after registration closes games will begin Dec. 4th. Games primarily Sunday possibility of occasional weeknight games.

** Players may only participate in ONE division of the A,B, or C league that is most appropriate for your skill set. (players may participate in one A/B/C division and the over 40 and/or the individual draft league.)

  • Teams will be assigned divisions based on team make up, past record and amount of registered teams. Teams not paid in full by Nov. 20th will be dropped from the league.
  • The team league play will consist of a guaranteed 12 game season with a single elimination tournament commencing at the end of the regular season.

  • League games will be held primarily Sundays, and potentially some Friday or Tuesday evenings .
  • League games start Nov. 6th, Individual Draft League games start Dec. 4th. Draft. League Players will be notified of team placement by Nov. 30th.
  • Every player MUST be registered as a player with USA Hockey prior to participating in any league games.
