Axtell Park mini park groups of 50 or less
This park is located in the heart of Glenwood Springs at 11th Street and Grand Avenue, just behind the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort. This .5 acre park features a playground, picnic tables a barbeque and rest rooms.

From Grand Junction/Rifle:	I-70 E toward Denver, take exit 116 for State Hwy 82 E toward Aspen. Turn left at CO-82/Laurel Street. Turn Right on 6th and right CO-82 over bridge to Grand Avenue. Take Grand Avenue to 11th Street park is on left behind the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort.

This park is located right on the corner, on the east side of Grand Avenue and 9th Street. This park features picnic tables only.

From Grand Junction/Rifle:	I-70 E toward Denver, take exit 116 for State Hwy 82 E toward Aspen. Turn left at CO-82/Laurel Street. Turn Right on 6th and right CO-82 over bridge to Grand Avenue. Take Grand Avenue to 9th Street park is on left corner.

Glenwood Park 1500 Mount Sopris Drive
This park features barbeques, picnic tables, basetball court and soccer field.

From Grand Junction/Rifle:	I-70 E toward Denver, take exit 116 for State Hwy 82 E toward Aspen. Turn left at CO-82/Laurel Street. Turn Right on 6th and right CO-82 over bridge to Grand Avenue. Take Grand Avenue turn right at the 27th Street traffic light. Go over the bridge slight left towards Sunlight Resort, Midland Ave. Pass the Mountain Market on left hand side. Turn left at Mt. Sopris Drive park is on the left.

Gregory Park 155 Center Drive - mini park groups of 50 or less
This park is located in West Glenwood Springs. This park features picnic tables, barbeque, picnic shelter, horseshoes and playground.

Directions:
From Grand Junction/Rifle:	I-70 E toward Denver, take West Glenwood exit 114 round about back under the I-70 Hwy 6 West turn out. Drive past the mall and turn right on Storm King Road. Go North about 2 blocks and take a left onto Center Drive and you will see the park.
From Denver/Vail:	I-70 W toward Grand Junction, take exit 114 round about to Hwy 6 West turn out. Drive past the mall and turn right on Storm King Road. Go North about 2 blocks and take a left onto Center Drive and you will see park.

Horseshoe Bend (not accessible by car)


Directions:
From Downtown Glenwood:	Go North on Grand Avenue, cross the Colorado River via the pedestrain bridge. At the corner of Grand Avenue and 6th Street take a right (by the mini-golf) Travel east 3 blocks to enter the bike/pedestrian path just past Yampah Vapor Caves. Follow the path about 1 mile to the park.

Park East (aka Conservancy Park) 4108 Sky Ranch Drive – Mini Park Groups of 50 or less
One of Glenwood’s newer parks along the Roaring Fork River has a small gazebo.

Directions:
From Grand Junction/Rifle:	I-70 E toward Denver, take exit 116 for State Hwy 82 E toward Aspen. Turn left at CO-82/Laurel Street. Turn Right on 6th and right CO-82 over bridge to Grand Avenue. Take Grand Avenue turn right at the 27th Street traffic light. Go over the bridge slight left towards Sunlight Resort, Midland Ave. Pass the Mountain Market on left hand side. Turn left at Mt. Sopris Drive past Sopris Elementary School continue and take a right on Sky Drive Ranch Drive continue to parking on left take trail to park.
From Denver/Vail:	I-70 W toward Grand Juction, take exit 116 for State Hwy 82 E towards Aspen. Turn right at CO-82/Laurel Street. Turn Right on 6th and right CO-82 over bridge to Grand Avenue. Take Grand Avenue turn right at the 27th Street traffic light. Go over the bridge slight left towards Sunlight Resort, Midland Ave. pass the Mountain Market on left hand side. Turn left at Mt. Sopris Drive past Sopris Elementary School continue and take a right on Sky Drive Ranch Drive continue to parking on left take trail to park.

Rodeo Grounds 380 County Rd. 116
This site of the former rodeo grounds has a usable area for events such as a circus measuring 315 feet long x 135 feet wide. The shelter structure is 100 feet long x 25 feet deep, but will not have bleachers. The parking lot is roughly 300 feet long x 200 feet wide. The arena has lights some electricity available and a small volume of treated City water.

Sayre Park (aka Strawberry Park) 1702 Grand Ave.
1702 Grand Ave. This 7.6 acre park is located in the center of Glenwood Springs and features a variety of amenities including basketball court, baseball field, volleyball, 2 tennis courts, playground, horseshoes, 2 picnic shelters, lighted gazebo, barbeques, picnic tables and restrooms.

From Grand Junction/Rifle:	I-70 E toward Denver, take exit 116 for State Hwy 82 E toward Aspen. Turn left at CO-82/Laurel Street. Turn Right on 6th and right CO-82 over bridge to Grand Avenue. Take Grand Avenue to Hyland Park Drive (between the 1600 and 1800 block) take a left park is on the right hand side.
From Denver/Vail:	I-70 W toward Grand Juction, take exit 116 for State Hwy 82 E towards Aspen. Turn right at CO-82/Laurel Street. Turn Right on 6th and right CO-82 over bridge to Grand Avenue. Sister Lucy Downey Park 51183 Hwy 6 & 24 - mini park groups of 50 or less
This park is located in West Glenwood Springs and only features picnic tables.

Directions:
From Grand Junction/Rifle:	I-70 E toward Denver, take West Glenwood exit 114 round about back under the I-70 to Hwy 6 East turn out. Go about 2 ½ miles to Soccer Field Road (just pass Burger King). The park is located right on the corner Hwy 6 and Soccer Field Road.
From Denver/Vail:	I-70 W toward Grand Junction, take exit 114 round about to Hwy 6 East turn out. Go about 2 ½ miles to Soccer Field Road (just pass Burger King). The park is located right on the corner Hwy 6 and Soccer Field Road.

Sopris Park 1150 Mount Sopris Drive
Glenwood’s newest ball park located next to Sopris Elementary School in South Glenwood.

Directions:

Three Mile Park Mini Park Groups of 50 or Less - Mountain Drive
This park features picnic tables, and a nice playground area.

Directions:
From Grand Junction/Rifle:	I-70 E toward Denver, take exit 116 for State Hwy 82 E toward Aspen. Turn left at CO-82/Laurel Street. Turn Right on 6th and right CO-82 over bridge to Grand Avenue. Take Grand Avenue turn right at the 27th Street traffic light. Go over the bridge slight left towards Sunlight Resort, Midland Ave. pass the Mountain Market on left hand side. Turn left onto Sopris Drive then turn left on Moutain Drive and travel 3 blocks. The park will be on your left.

Two Rivers Park 740 Devereux Rd.
Our largest developed park located at the confluence of the Colorado and Roaring Fork Rivers. This 22 acre park has river access and plenty of parking. The Glenwood Skate Park is also located in the Two Rivers Park features a variety of ramps. The park also includes restrooms, lighted fields, picnic areas, two park shelters with barbeques, playground and horseshoe pits. Two Rivers Park is also home to a variety of concerts at the large outdoor ampatheatre.

Directions:
From Grand Junction/Rifle:	I-70 E toward Denver, take West Glenwood exit 114 round about back under the I-70 to Hwy 6 East turn out. Stay on Hwy 6 for about 1 mile. Just after you pass under the tram cables, take a right onto Devereux Road. You will cross over I-70, the park will be on your left.
From Denver/Vail:	I-70 W toward Grand Junction, take exit 116 and turn right, immediately get into the left-hand lane. Turn left onto 6th Street at the traffic light. Stay on 6th street for about 3 blocks. Turn left onto Devereux Road. You will cross over I-70, the park will be on your left.

Veltus Park 901 Midland Ave.
Located at the corner of Midland Avenue and 8th Street along the Roaring Fork River, this 8-acre park, also called Kiwanis Park, has three picnic shelters, two with electric out lets. The park has two sets of restrooms, picnic tables, volleyball court, barbeque pits and a playground. Park amenities include tennis and basketball courts, horseshoe pits and a wheelchair-accessible fishing ramp.

Directions:
From Downtown Glenwood:	From Grand Avenue turn west on 8th Street. Take the next right onto Colorado Avenue then the next left onto 7th Street. Stay on 7th (7th turns into 8th) till you come to the “T” in the road, which is Midland Avenue turn left. The park is approximately .5 miles on your left.
From Aspen:	Take Glen Avenue north (Hwy 82 turns into Glen Avenue at McDonalds) to 27th Street turn left. Travel across Sunlight Bridge and turn right onto Midland Avenue (second right after the bridge) Continue straight through the 4 way stop. The park is on your right, just after the stop.
From Rifle:	Take I-70 East toward Denver, take West Glenwood exit #114 round about right to Midland Avenue continue and pass The Meadow Shopping Center, continue to 3-way stop light continue straight park will be on the left.
From Denver/Vail:	Take I-70 West to West Glenwood exit #114 round about right to Midland Avenue continue and pass The Meadow Shopping Center, continue to 3 way stop light continue straight park will be on the left.

Vogelaar Park 915 School Street
Located adjacent to Glenwood Springs Elementary School, Vogelaar’s 4-acre park has a playground and a softball field with lights.

Directions:
From Downtown Glenwood:	From Grand Avenue, turn west onto 8th Street. Stay on this street about 3 blocks past City Hall, the park in on your left hand side.
From Rifle:	Take the Glenwood/Aspen exit #116 and turn left, get in the right hand lane. At the traffic light turn right and continue in the right lane going across the bridge. Turn right at the light just after the brige which is 8th street, follow this street about 3 blocks past City Hall. The Park is on your left hand side.
