Ice Rink


The Glenwood Springs Community Center Ice Rink is an 85’ x 200’ NHL-size, outdoor, covered rink that maintains ice from November through Mid-March (weather permitting). During the summer the in-line rink will be open to the public during the days Monday - Friday. The Rink may be unavailable certain days during the summer for cleaning, maintenance and/or private events. During the winter the ice rink hosts Public Skating, Stick and Puck,  Youth and Adult Hockey, Learn to skate, and other ice related programs and activities.  For private rentals, facility questions or booking ice time please contact Ice Rink Coordinator  or call 970-384-6318.

Anticipated opening date: October 29th 2016 (weather permitting)  
Note: Rink surface will be closed to Public Access 2 weeks prior to the fall opening date to prepare and make ice.  To volunteer for ice making and/or painting please contact the Ice Rink Coordinator for details.

News & Happenings

Saturday, Oct 29th 4 - 7pm  Trunk or Treat Event has been cancelled.

The Community Center will be closed November 24th & 25th, & December 23rd - 26th
Wednesday, November 23rd, the Center will close at 5pm. 

The pool and the gymnasium will be closed November 12 & 13 for a swim meet.

The Rec Department is proud to team up with "cantor" Rita Shore to offer what is sure to be a fun way to better health.
