Adrenaline Action Activities

Your child will have the opportunity to explore traditional and non-traditional games that are guaranteed to get the adrenaline pumping.  The program is designed for group and individual oriented athletes.  We will play old favorites such as dodge ball, kickball, four square, and 500.  We will also explore various group initiatives and teambuilding activities.  The emphasis will be on fun, friendly play, while enjoying the physical benefits of using your mind and body.

Ski and Snowboard Days

In need of a tune up before the ski and snowboard season kicks into  full swing?  The Parks & Recreation Department, in conjunction with Sunlight Mountain, will offer 3 full days of ski and snowboard lessons.  The Program is for all levels and abilities.  Transportation to and from Sunlight is included.  Ski and snowboard rentals cost an additional $20.00, to be paid at time of registration at Glenwood Springs Community  Center.  Participants must bring a sack lunch or money for lunch and appropriate clothing/gear.  Space is limited.  First time skiers/snowboarders are required to come to the first Saturday.  Any cancellations must be done by Wednesday at noon three days before the trip or a 50% cancellation fee will apply.

Winter Break Activities

Join is for a half day of FUNtastic activities during Winter Break at the Glenwood Springs Community Center.  Each day has a special theme and is taught and supervised by our excellent Community Center Staff. 
Themes will be: 

	December 22nd:  Rock Climbing and Swimming
	December 23rd:  Cooking and Crafts
	December 29th:  Team Sports and Dodgeball
	December 30th:  Bouncer and Gym Games

Teen RecNight!!! NEW

Calling all teens!  Come enjoy music, gym games, swimming, the climbing wall, and more at the Glenwood Springs Community Center!  The facility is all yours for this program!  Parents:  No need to worry, supervision will be provided by the recreation staff!
