Fitness Center

Fitness Center:

Our Fitness Center features a Cardio Balcony, Strength area, Indoor Track, Fitness Studio, and Indoor Cycling Room. The Cardio Balcony features 4 new Precor Treadmills(Link to model), 3 new Precor elliptical cross-trainers (link to model), 1 new precor Stair Climber(link to model), 3 new Precor recumbent bikes (link to model), and 3 new Precor upright bikes. We also have upgraded a large portion of our strength area.  The strength area now features 3 new Paramount incline/flat/decline adjustable benches (link to model), Paramount Functional Cable Crossover (link to model), Precor Olympic Bench and bench press bar (link to model), and a preacher curl station (link to model).  Nautilus & Paramount selectorized weights, a Smith Machine, dumbbell weights up to 65 pounds, and back/abdominal benches. Heart rate monitors are also available. The Chakra Studio is our fitness room with a suspension wood floor, mirrors, ballet bar and is equipped with an array of exercise tools including fit balls, hand weights, resistance bands, body bars, jump ropes, steps, yoga props and more. The Indoor Cycling room features LeMond RevMaster stationary bikes.



Indoor Track

The Indoor Track is raised above the gymnasium and runs the outside of the Cardio Balcony. Fourteen laps equal one mile. Track direction alternates on the following schedule: Clockwise on Sat/Sun/Mon/Tue, Counter-clockwise on Wed/Thu/Fri.

Fitness Orientations

Whether you are new to using exercise equipment or expanding your fitness knowledge, fitness orientations help you attain optimal workout benefit.  Our trained fitness staff demonstrates proper and safe use of the fitness equipment and will recommend a workout program.  Orientations take approximately 45 minutes long and are required for ages 12-15 before using the Fitness Center equipment.  One free fitness orientation is available to Community Center members ages 12 & up. Not a member? No Problem!  Non-member fee: $5 (ages 12-15) / $10 (ages 16+) Personal Training A certified Personal Trainer will help you develop and improve your exercise routine, while providing you with the motivation and guidence to achieve your fitness goals.  Contact the front desk about scheduling an appointment.
1 session: $40R / $45 NR
2 sessions: $75 R / $85 NR
4 sessions: $150 R / $170 NR
10 sessions: $350 R / $400 NR

Fitness Classes

The Community Center offers a diverse schedule of group fitness classes including Floor Aerobics, Power Pilates, Indoor Cycling, Core Kickboxing, Yoga, and T’ai Chi. (Classes not included with membership, punch pass, or daily drop-in are: Yampah Yahoos & Dance classes.) 

Fitness Center Guidelines

Age Requirements:

  • You must be 12 and older to use the Cardio Balcony, Indoor Track, and Indoor Cycling Room 
  • Ages 12-15 must complete a fitness orientation before using the weight & cardiovascular equipment. 
  • You must be 16 and older to use the free weights.
  • You must be 15 and older to participate in fitness classes.

General Guidelines:

  • Appropriate fitness attire is required.  No street clothes.  Shirt and closed-toed shoes are required.  Bare feet allowed only in certain fitness classes.
  • No food or drink.  Water/sports drinks in closed plastic bottles are permitted.
  • Please be courteous to other guests: when others are waiting, rotate turns on weight equipment and limit your time to 30 minutes on cardio machines.
  • Wipe down equipment after each use.
  • You MUST sign-up for treadmills and ellipticals on the Sign-up board located in front of equipment.
  • Always re-rack weights and return equipment to its proper place after each use.
  • Please do not slam weight stacks or drop weights on floor.
  • Observe the alternating Track schedule.
  • No stopping/standing/loitering on Track.
  • Children under 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult when using the track.
  • Please be respectful of others, cell phones are not allowed on cardio balcony, strength area, spin room, or in fitness studios.
