Aquatic Center Safety Guidelines:
- Children 8 (eight) and under must be accompanied by a chaperone at least 14 years old and MUST be within arms reach at all times.

Do not talk or visit with lifeguards while they are on duty. Lifeguards are only on duty to keep patrons safe and respond in case of emergency.

The front desk, pool manager, or aquatic coordinator will be to answer any questions that patrons may have.

Swimmers are encouraged to take head to toe soap showers before entering the pool.

To protect the privacy of all patrons, the use of camera phones and video equipment is strictly prohibited in all bathrooms and locker rooms.

Individuals with open wounds and sores should not enter the pool.

Children that are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper with tight fitting plastic, rubber or vinyl pants over them. Do not change diapers on the pool deck.

Girls & Boys older than six years old should use the appropriate locker room or Family Locker Room.

No gum, glass, tobacco, alcohol, weapons, drug paraphernalia, profanity, fighting, pushing, dunking, throwing patrons, running, public indecency, running dives, twisting, running jumps off pool edge, spitting, or harassment.

Only lined swim suits: No cut-off pants, leotards, T-Shirts, gym shorts, jeans or thong swim suits.

Absolutely no food or beverages in pool area. ONLY on the outside sun deck.

No hanging or sitting on railings or lane lines. Conduct that may endanger others is prohibited.

No dunking or throwing people into the pool.

Climbing on the poles, fences, trash receptacle, amenities, guard chairs, pool covers, etc., is prohibited.

Games must be kept in areas designated by the staff. No wrestling, “chicken fights,” or excessive splash fights.

All swimming aids must be used within an arm's reach of an actively participating chaperone. If you are uncertain of type of swimming aide, please bring it and check with staff.

Masks, fins, snorkels, rafts and tubes of any kind are only allowed in designated areas and times.

Toys may be allowed but must be of soft material. Acceptable toys will be left to the discretion of the lifeguard on duty.

No excessive public displays of affection.

The public address system is for official use only. Absolutely no paging allowed.

Diving is only allowed in designated areas. During Open Swim, use of the starting blocks is not permitted. The 4ft end of pool is a no diving zone.

Wet swimmers are not allowed in the lobby or viewing areas.

The Pool Management and authorized personnel reserve the right to expel anyone not following pool rules and reserve the right to limit or suspend pool privileges.

Practice rescue drills will occur periodically.

The pool will have a Safety Break every 10 minutes before the hour when capacity is 50 or more patrons. Guests 17 and under must exit the pool at this time and stay behind the grate.

All riders must be at least 48" tall or have prior approval from management in order to ride the waterslide.

Standing, kneeling and stopping intentionally on the slide are strictly prohibited.

All riders must ride feet first while lying on their back and arms crossed across their chest or hands clasped behind their head and legs crossed at the ankles and then exit the pool immediately after each slide. Only one rider at a time.

It is strongly recomended that only guests 17 years or older may use the whirlpool.

The maximum bather load for the whirlpool is 10 people. Entrance to the whirlpool may be restricted if the whirlpool reaches capacity.

Guests should only use the whirlpool at a duration of 10 to 15 minutes at a time.
-
Rules may be added or waived by the management when appropriate.
