The Glenwood Springs Parks and Recreation Department is proud to offer indoor climbing on a state of the art rock climbing structure.
The wall offers top rope, auto-belay routes on a surface that simulates many features of actual rock, including multiple small crack climbs. The wall also has 20 to 30 bouldering problems for non-roped challenges.
Range of Climbers
The wall offers novice, intermediate, and first time climbers attainable challenges and a great learning environment for climbing classes.
The climbing wall was built to challenge even the most proficient climbers. The wall has built-in "natural" routes that follow the contours of the rock ranging in difficulty from 5.10 to 5.14. Sorry no leading, top rope only.
The wall is currently available for reservations by climbers who are belay certified and have their own equipment. Equipment is not being lent out at this time. Climbers must disinfect the wall after use.
Belay certification appointments can be made by contacting Andrew Coe at 970-384-6318.
